The rights to the franchise belong to the publisher, not the developer. The rights to FlatOut belonged to Empire Interactive, until she went bankrupt. After this, she was forced to sell off her assets. And FlatOut found a buyer in the form of a little-known publisher Strategy First, which, after purchasing the franchise, first of all took away the rights to develop games in the FlatOut series from Bugbear and gave them to her shitgame makers from Team 6. A little about the team: as stated in the review, at first only 6 people worked in the company, hence the name. But the campaign has existed for more than 10 years, and during this time its staff has grown to as many as 12 people. A little mathematics: on the official website Team 6 it is said that they have been working in the field of interactive entertainment for about 10 years. The same site presents all the “games” “developed” by this company. There are 42 of them in total (!). So it turns out that they release 4 games a year. That’s 3 months per game. No wonder.
